Project description
StochPy is an easy-to-use Python package, which provides several stochastic simulation algorithms (SSAs). These algorithms are also known as Gillespie Algorithms. These algorithms are used for stochastic simulations of biochemical systems. Furthermore, several unique and easy-to-use analysis techniques are provided by StochPy. Also, StochPy fully supports SBML input, if sufficient libraries are installed.
StochPy is an extention of PySCeS. PySCeS - the Python Simulator for Cellular Systems - is an extendable toolkit for the analysis and investigation of cellular systems.
