Besides Python, the cmocean colormaps are also available for:
For MATLAB by Chad Greene
For R: Oce oceanographic analysis package by Dan Kelley and Clark Richards
For Paraview, inspired by Phillip Wolfram.
In Plotly
Chad Greene’s Antartic Mapping Tools in Matlab uses cmocean
To install, type: pip install cmocean or if you use Anaconda: conda install -c conda-forge cmocean
