ANSI colors highlight for Flake8

Installation

  1. Install plugin:

    pip install flake8-colors
  2. Use the following example format in your .flake8 file:

    format = ${cyan}%(path)s${reset}:${yellow_bold}%(row)d${reset}:${green_bold}%(col)d${reset}: ${red_bold}%(code)s${reset} %(text)s
  3. Enjoy!

Usage

There are three forms of tags:

  • ${COLOR}

  • ${COLOR_MODIFIER}

  • ${TAG}

Colors:

  • black

  • red

  • green

  • yellow

  • blue

  • purple

  • cyan

  • white

Modifiers:

  • fg

  • bold

  • underline

  • bg

Tags:

  • bold

  • underline

  • reset
