Features
retrieves and parses datasets from the web
returns simple python data structures that can be easily pulled into more sophisticated tools for analysis
caches datasets locally and harvests updates as needed

Currently, ulmo supports the following datasets / services:
United States Geological Survey National Water Information System
National Climatic Data Center Global Summary of the Day
National Climatic Data Center Global Historical Climatology Network
CUAHSI WaterOneFlow
Future
Support for the following datasets is currently under development and they should be available soon:
National Weather Service 24-hour Precip (4 km grid)
Climate Prediction Center Weekly Drought Monitor
